Storm Over Vestrahorn

This is quite a unique place, as many of the locations in Iceland are, making it a very popular with photographers. These black sand dunes collect water in the ripples from the nearby ocean. The golden grass collect the blowing sand and form the mounds. There are so many interesting textures and patterns in the sand. I keep hoping the clouds would clear from the mountain peak but they never opened up along the peak.
